I installed this program and immediately began recording vinyl, 8-tracks, and cassettes then transferring them to CD's. The ONLY program of it's kind that I have ever been able to get started with regardless of time wasted trying to figure out how the goofy, complicated thing works. Everything else is trash in comparison to SED. |

I like the the program because the tools, effects and others are easy to handle even when you are not an experienced music-mixer. |

It worked exactly how I wanted it to. I used it to edit some songs. I was inserting the songs into a powerpoint presentation, but only wanted part of the songs, so I cut off the last 2 min of one song (actually faded out and added silence over the last 2 min.) It was pretty easy to figure out how to use the software. |

I liked that I didn't have to read through a lot of documentation to do the simple sound editing and mixing that I needed to do on a few sound files. I also liked the optional ripper better than my current ripper (you can listen to the sound file from within the ripper). It is also a small footprint on my system. |

I'm really learning all about how cool this program is by taking my recordings, then saving them and editing them through Gold Wave Editor . Numerous features such as record, where I can record, save, have the choice to edit, then burn onto cd. And if I need to edit my recordings again, I just load them into my cd-rw drive then load them back onto Gold Wave Editor . Excellent stuff! And I'm STILL learning more of its features! |
