This software is straightforward to use , and works perfectly. So far I have used it convert wav files to mp3 , and m4a files to mp3. A 28 MB m4a file took a little less than two and a half minutes to complete. The software accepts audio files in several formats , and gives the following options for the output format : mp3 , wma , ogg , wav , ape and flac. You can choose to have a variable bit rate or not. The sample rate can be selected from 32 KHz. , 44.1 KHz. and 48 KHz. You can choose to have the output in mono , stereo or joint stereo. You can also select a bit rate from 32 kbps to 320 kbps. Just drag the files you want to convert , click on the GO button , and you are done. It cannot get simpler than that. For freeware , this program is great.
