I was looking all over for a MD5 file/data verifier after being hit by silent data corruption and started to look for an uncomplicated and rugged program to vheck data transfers , tried a few other shareware that were confusing to use besides nagging one to distraction until I tried FastSum 1.6. It captured my attention with its intuitive interface, good documentation, ease of use, and best of all it works flawlessly, for me at least. I have a network of over a million files and this utility assures me that data transfers are getting across error free, besides allowing one to check file integrity in massive directories. xcellent stuff this is.
