OnlineClock.net is the internet alarm clock with the cool retro 70's digital clock style. It reminds of the very first digital watch my dad had, with its glowing red LED numbers against an empty black background. Kind of scary in its starkness, but in a cool way. This site's so useful because of its simplicity. Thank god the developers seem to be keeping the site simple, letting it become a classic on the internet. Special tip: scroll down to the bottom of the site in your browser to see extra navigation links at the bottom of the page. These include links to a stopwatch, a countdown timer, and an alarm clock using a 24 hour display system. Online since early 2006, OnlineClock.net claims to be the first website entirely devoted to being the world's most popular online alarm clock. If Google is any indication, the makers of OnlineClock might well be on their way to achieving this goal. Currently, OnineClock enjoys a place at the very top of the search results when you search for "alarm clock" and has a loyal user base of more than 17,000 unique visitors per day. Sure, OnlineClock.net includes a couple of configuration options, such as the ability to choose your desired background color, and the ability to make the size of the digits larger or smaller. But what really impressed us is the sound of the alarm itself - it's so annoying, it simply must be heard to be believed ! If I hear that sound first thing in the morning, I think I'll be guaranteed to get out of bed, and maybe even throw a brick at my laptop to stop the thing.
