Ping Host scans your network for devices. You define a list of hostnames and/or IP addresses, and the program will ping each in turn. If any devices respond they are displayed in the results pane. The program attempts to gain more information about the discovered devices. Use Ping Host in a corporate environment to test the avalibility of your critical network devices. Check that the gateway is up, and that the print server is active. Ping Host is standalone, so it can be kept on a USB drive, and is less than 1MB in size. No installation required. It can ping a single device, either by IP-Address or hostname. Your frequent scans can be saved and loaded for future use. The results can be saved to a CSV file for your records.
