SecureFX is a secure file transfer client with support for SFTP, FTP/SSL, and FTP protocols. SecureFX combines an easy-to-use, Explorer-like interface with advanced features including relentless file transfers, remote editing, site synchronization, and public-key, X.509 certificate, and Kerberos v5 (GSSAPI) authentication. An optional "FIPS Mode” uses a FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic library and only allows FIPS-approved algorithms. Connect to a site that supports SSH2 and SecureFX has everything you need to create a fully encrypted SFTP session. SecureFX makes it easier than ever to securely transfer files. Establish a secure connection with a mouse click, or type a server name in the Quick Connect dialog. Drag and drop files to and from the server and your desktop, Windows Explorer, and other applications, or perform fully automated, unattended file transfers with the SFXCL command-line utility. Relentless file transfers automatically resume transfers when connections are broken, and Quick Sync provides one-click synchronization between your local files and server. With the tree-based session manager, arrange hundreds of sites. You can conveniently access any open sessions from the Activator tray utility menu. Named sessions let you save preferences for individual sites. Named firewalls can be used on a session-specific basis so that you can work from multiple locations with different firewalls. Firewall options include generic, basic, and unauthenticated HTTP proxies. SecureFX also provides the ability to run multiple instances of the application and support for IPv6. SecureFX supports AES, Twofish, Blowfish, 3DES, and RC4 ciphers. RSA and DSA key formats are supported for host keys and public keys. If you need terminal emulation and file transfer, SecureCRT and SecureFX can share global and session options and host key database so configuring a connection only needs to be done once. Protocol support for FTP over SSL (TLS) gives you additional security when the remote machine only supports SSL, or when firewall settings prevent the use of SSH/SFTP. -Transfer queue. When connected to a host, you can now queue up files to be transferred. Transfers are done serially, preventing errors if the remote FTP server doesn't allow multiple connections. - Move files. Transfer and delete files in one step with the /Move flag in the SFXCL command-line utility. Drag-and-drop move is also supported by holding down the ALT key. - Improved HTTP proxy support. Proxy setup is simplified with support for unauthenticated and basic HTTP proxies. - Enhanced support for X.509 host keys. X.509 host-key checking automatically accepts the host key if the certificate is valid.

When this option is set, SecureFX uses a FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic library and only allows FIPS-approved algorithms. -Enhanced support for X.509 certificate authentication: X.509 certificate forwarding is now supported directly as well as through a CAPI store. SecureFX also supports forwarding through the public-key agent, which means that re-authentication is automatic when connecting to another machine using the same X.509 certificate. -Activator support for SSH agent functionality: If Activator is running, re-authentication is automatic even if SecureFX has been closed. -Multi-session launch: Folders and multiple selected sessions can be connected from the Connect dialog.
