Counter to Mike's paranoia, I tried and purchased this software. It is a legitimate company, and when I had questions, someone responded by the next business day. According to the home page of Unitypro, it looks like they will not be actively selling T3D anymore. I emailed support to ask about this and found out you can still purchase T3D through Share-It. Mike, if you had issues with the payment processor Share-It, that doesn't mean the author of the software (or the site the software is marketed on) is to blame. True, they probably should change payment processors if there are problems with Share-It. I assure you I have purchased and am actively using T3D 2D to 3D Image Converter. I'm not sure how you can call that a scam. |

That you had a problem with Shate*It is unfortunate, howerver, Share*it is one of the largest processor of online payments in the world for shareware and has no connection to UnityPro nor it products. Thousands of copies of T3D sell each month. Any question regarginfg paymets or the status of UnityPro as as seller, can asked to share*it. If a company is not in good standing - they will not accept payments for them - it would make then open to a lawsuit. On the oppside side of the coin we use Share*It because it uses 128 bit secure encrypted communications between you and them. Your information is completely safe. Further, UnityPro does not receive any of your payment information, that is private between you and them. They simply send a message to the sales department that says your name and that you have paid for the product and to issue a license to your email address. We do not see any credit card information or other financial data other than the amount that you paid. If you have security concerns we encourage you to contact share*it. Also you may contact UnityPro directly as well. Also, because you pay by credit card or by paypal, if you have any problem, you can challenge the charge to paypal or the credit card company, if indeed you did not receive a license after making payment, Share*it will give us the opportunity to prove that we sent the registration information, they do a complete investigation. fF they find that you did not get it or were the victim of identity theft, you are refunded *IN FULL*. In the case of Identity theft that card is then blacklisted by the credit agencies and they begin a criminal investigation. If you did order it, received your registration, and then knowingly lie that you did not, the credit agency will have the FBI or your local law enforcement begin a criminal investigation from that side. All of these are independent of us as we do no process your payment, nor do we see your financial information at any time. If you have reported your card being stolen or lost, your payment will be refused by share*it and the credit card company and not processed. We regret that you had a problem with Share*it as a "slow" page, but that can happen for a variety or reasons, to come to the conclusion that it is a scam because you had a slow page is extending paranoia to the extreme. As it is an encrypted connection (see the lock on your browser - that means it is a secure site) If you are having problems purchasing the product and want do so so, we are always happy to assist you in getting you in touch with share it Again, we want to make it perfectly clear that at NO TIME does UnityPro have possession of your financial information in any form. If you find online payments to be scary, you can also order it from them via telephone from Share*it, But let us set the record straight - In now way is UnityPro involved in any type of "scam" or identity theft. To claim this publicly, you have to lie and this shows a "Reckless disregard for the truth" and false posts of such a nature are actionable in a court of law. We do take action against people who make false claims that the liable. To win such a suit we need only to prove you lied, to do that all we have to do is show that court that we do not receive your financial information. Do not make false posts "Mike" - Thank you |

This progam seems to have a lot of promise, easy to install, easy to get going with. Some photos do very well by default, others you need to mess around with. Different ways for it to figure out the image's depth as well amount of warp, etc.. The problem is that it's impossible to buy. Shareit processes the payments and the site is so slow it takes forever to open a simple page, and there's no way to contact them when things go wrong - which it did.. during a payment it's not good for things to go wrong. I'm not going to try again, might be a fun bit of software but I'm not crazy about letting payment information get screwed around with. DON'T TRY TO BUY THIS - You might have your payment information floating around cyberspace. I think this is a scam. |
