The newest release incorporates the simplest, yet most advanced Java EE 6 technology with an emphasis on extensibility, profiles, and pruning. And, by including JPA 2.0, users get extended mapping support, derived identifiers, nested embedding and much more. Support in M2 for JSF 2.0, EclipseLink 2.1 and Apache’s OpenJPA 2.0 is also included.

To install this version, install a 64-bit version of Pulse and when provisioning MyEclipse 9.0 M1, choose 64-bit. Note: Due to technical constraints, the 64-bit version of MyEclipse on Windows will not include Visual Designers, the REST Explorer and JavaScript debugging. These features will be re-introduced in subsequent releases. Users can always choose to provision a 32-bit version of MyEclipse, even on 64-bit systems to retain access to all features.
