SearchBlox is an out-of-the-box Enterprise Search Solution built on top of Apache Lucene. It is fast to deploy, easy to manage and best of all, it is free. SearchBlox is built on Apache Lucene – the leading open source search library. Search indexes built using SearchBlox adhere to open standards and offer greater flexibility compared to closed proprietary platforms.

SearchBlox provides crawlers for Filesystems, HTTP/HTTPS and RSS Feeds that work out-of-the-box. The HTTP/HTTPS crawler can index both public and protected content. SearchBlox can index content in 37 languages including European and Asian languages. Stopwords and stemming are also supported for the different languages. SearchBlox is packaged for fast deployment to Windows, Linux and Mac OS X operating systems. Or you can readily use our Cloud-hosted SearchBlox service.

SearchBlox is managed entirely through web-based Admin Console. Document collections can be configured and indexed in a matter of minutes. SearchBlox supports scheduled operations such as indexing, which greatly reduces administrative overheads for such repetitive tasks. SearchBlox offers a choice of support options backed by Service Level Agreements (SLA) to suit client requirements.
