We Heart It is a Google Chrome extension designed to help you create a favorites list from any images you encounter while surfing the Internet. It can be handled by all types of users, regardless of their level of experience.
This way, you can store images online and access them from any location. Under normal circumstances, you couldn't do this by simply saving them to your computer.
Installing the app on your web browser can be easily done, by using the "drag and drop" method to add it to the Extensions area of Chrome's Settings page.
The interface of the utility is based on a small, heart-shaped icon which is placed in the toolbar. Clicking it gives you the possibility of selecting an image from the current webpage, in order to add it to your favorites list. This gallery can be accessed at WeHeartIt.com but you are required to create an account (or to log in with your Facebook or Twitter credentials).
