The DialogsEXE component is a 32-bit ActiveX EXE component (hosted by DialogsEXE.exe file), providing a graphical user interface (GUI) for Windows Script Host (VBScript / JScript), PowerShell, and any programming language capable of instantiating COM components (E.G.: C++, Delphi, VB6, VBA, Python, Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, VB.NET, etc.). The DialogsEXE ActiveX component provides, using a simple programming environment, a generic solution where users can design their own forms and add functionality to them, without using Visual Studio. This IT solution allows building runtime-customizable, programmable user interfaces. When used with script languages, it allows building fully functional Windows applications, using just a simple text editor (like Notepad.exe); no need to buy expensive application development suites for Windows! Its API contains 31 properties, 171 methods and 184 events that can be used to fully customize the appearance and behavior of your Windows script (or COM-based) client applications. Main features: Full set of functionalities for creating window interfaces; supports most of the standard Windows controls. Complete Application Programming Interface (API) to manage all aspects of the graphical user interface. ActiveX support: it can dynamically load ActiveX controls and provide access to their interfaces, including event interfaces, during runtime. Language-independent component: only COM support is required. Supports working with popular image formats, like Bitmap (.bmp, .dib), GIF (.gif), JPEG (.jpg), Metafile (.wmf, .emf), Icon (.ico). Supports the following versions of the Windows operating system: 98SE, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, 7, 2008, 2008 R2, 8, 8.1, 2012, 2016, 10, and 11. It can be used by both, 32-bit and 64-bit, client applications. A new version, 1.1.0.0, has been released on October 19th, 2024, providing, among other things, a visual User Interface Designer program.
